"Freegle Direct" refers to the Freegle website for members. Behind it are the servers, software and database systems which, along with volunteers, are the heart of what Freegle is and does.

Deadline expiration on posts - The poster gets warned in advance in case they want to change their mind, but once the deadline expires then the post is marked as completed and will no longer show to freeglers.
Events - how members can add their own event notice
Feedback - system generated statistics about members for other members
Member Ratings - the 'thumbs up, thumbs down' system
Taken Button - when a member uses the Taken button an automated message is sent to all those who have requested the item, including the freegler who has been offered or collected it.
Unsubscribe and Trouble unsubscribing
