Sample message: Old posts

This sample message can be used if a member asks about deleting items in their list of old posts.

Hi there

I'm sorry, but you can't delete items from your list of old posts.

We keep them for two reasons. The main one is for our statistics, as we use the amounts and types of items freegled to show individuals, councils and other organisations the impact our members are making in reuse. The second reason is that before we kept all old post information, some members contacted us to say something like "I know it said if I deleted this I couldn't get it back, but now I want it back", so keeping posts means members don't have that problem.
