What is a QR code?
QR codes are the square blocky equivalents to bar codes or web site addresses.
What does it look like?
How does it work?
When you focus the camera of a smart phone or tablet on the code, it leads to the Freegle Home page.
Where do I get one?
You can copy and paste them in to a banner or leaflet, anywhere where it is easier to point a device than to jot down a website address.
How should I use it?
https://app.qr-code-generator.com has helpful advice on how best to use these codes, and where.
How long will it last?
Freegle subscribed to the code which remained live for three years until August 2021. However it still seems to be working in 2023.
Can I track the effectiveness of a particular campaign, poster or leaflet?
