Disabling spam filters in Gmail

When forwarding Gmail emails to another mailbox, anything Gmail has marked as spam won't be forwarded. To make sure you get all emails, including any incorrectly marked as spam, you can disable the spam filter:

  • Log into your Gmail account in your web browser
  • Click 'Options' (the cog icon, top right)
  • Click 'Settings'
  • Click 'Filters'
  • Click 'Create a new filter' (bottom of the list)
  • In the 'Doesn't have' field, enter "opsjkfokjaw9ptu4398ru39u9u93flkoifjew" (or any other long, random string)
  • Click 'Create filter with this search'
  • Tick 'Never send it to Spam'
  • Click 'Create Filter'
