Automated welcome message
A welcome text can be stored in ModTools > Settings > Community > How It Looks.
If you want to send a welcome message, here's one you can edit to suit your community.
Welcome to the xxxxxxx Freegle community.

In addition, these are the local rules of the xxxxxx Freegle community:
- 1. Repeat Offers can be posted after x days.
- 2. Repeat Wanteds can be posted after x days.
- 3. Please don't sell items you got from Freegle without the permission of the person who gifted them to you.
- 4. We do/do not accept posts for pets/living creatures.
Please remember the main purpose of this community is to keep stuff out of landfill, so only offer actual items - don't offer or ask for services or vouchers.
The service is run by volunteers and relies on real people taking part, so please always be polite and collect items at the agreed time.

Freegle puts people who have unwanted items in touch with people who want those items. Freegle never sees or checks items, and they may not be in working order. Posting an advert or responding to one doesn't guarantee you'll be able to get rid of unwanted items or get the items you want. Any agreement you reach about items will be between you and the other person. It's your responsibility to ensure you're not breaking any laws in offering or receiving goods through Freegle.
