This is a sample message you could use to send out if one of your members inadvertently sends a message to their whole address book about a virus.

ADMIN: Virus Warnings

We have all received them: dire warnings of a virus or bug that will wipe our computer clean and strip out our bank accounts. Before sending this onto all your friends, though, it is is best to check if the warning is actually important or just a spoof. Two good sites that can help you with this are https://www.hoax-slayer.com/ and https://www.snopes.com.

Another good tip is to use BCC rather than divulge all your friends' email addresses to each other. Here is a helpful page that explains this.

If anyone has any good tips like these that we could share, please let the volunteers team know. The more we can help each other keep safe on the internet, the better!
