Potato Feast

A great idea from Ellen in Stirling City:
Have a Potato Feast and invite friends to eat and drink and make a contribution to Freegle. So why potatoes you ask? Well it is a relatively cheap staple that can be turned into so many dishes. The kids who come can do potato printing, and generally everyone can have a good time. It may not bring in lots of dosh (although it may) but it will spread the word about Freegle. Also have a quiz which guests pay to complete (the idea is to offer many ways to make money!). If you are feeling really inspired you could compile a recipe book and sell that too.
