Sample Admin: Events

This is an example Admin you could use on your community to announce the Freegle Events facility.

Hi there

This mail is sent to all members of the community.

If you use Freegle directly, as opposed to other interfaces such as TrashNothing, you can share information about upcoming community events – car boot sales, raffles, talks... in fact anything that you think might be of interest to other Freeglers. If you're browsing the web rather than using the Freegle app, you can find our local Freegle community at https://freegle.in/<name of your community>.

Events will be displayed alongside the Chitchat page, along with a link to add a new one. The large + icon also includes this link, along with other things that you can post on Freegle. Each event you add will be reviewed by local volunteers, just to make sure it is something community-based rather than too commercial.
