FreebieJeebies

FreebieJeebies is a site that shows its users how to get things for free, by getting referrals from others in return for free gifts. Some of those users have tried to exploit online groups like ours to get referrals, offering items in messages and then directing repliers to FreebieJeebies.

The FCModSpammers administrators contacted FreebieJeebies about this in August 2010. FreebieJeebies confirmed that doing the above breaches sections V.(c) and V.(h) of their Terms and Conditions (http://www.freebiejeebies.co.uk/conditions.htm), and that at the time they had no fully automated method for moderators to report it. However, they provided the following process:

If you find a scammer, forward them a copy of the post made, together with the referral link - which is either in the post or returned by the auto-responder - to support@freebiejeebies.co.uk. They will then close the person's account for breaching their T&Cs, removing any credit they've earned and preventing them from gaining further credit.
