These portals are the 'top' categories. Within each category there are sub categories and pages. Each page in this wiki is categorised (some pages come under more than one category).
You can look at lists of categories and pages by clicking on Special pages in the left hand menu Special:SpecialPages.
Any questions at all or help needed with categorising new pages etc, just post a message on the Freegle Tech [1] or Freegle Central [2] group and ask!
