Group Promotion Volunteers
It would be ideal to have at least two volunteers in each group who are willing to take on the work of promoting the group, as the work ranges from very regular social media contact to occasional PR events. Of course the work can be taken on by volunteers doing other work for the group, such as moderating! Support and Procedures
Apart from working with the group moderating team, there are national opportunities to share experiences, ask questions and get support. Local Social Media Guidelines document lays out the expectations of running a social media account in the name of Freegle. The portal Publicity provide relevant information for a whole range of promotion ideas.
