As an experiment, we are paying someone to:
- Look through our Freegle stories
- Pick ones that might be suitable for local news stories
- Contact the person and get permission, and some photos
- Find local media outlets
- Try to get the story placed
The idea is that although Freegle is no longer “new” enough to easily get lots of national publicity, local publicity with human interest stories is a different ball game.
