There are a variety of ways that people can donate to Freegle nationally, either by direct payment or by using services that donate to a chosen charity. (see Donations for Freegle for details).

The website also has a facility to donate - https://www.ilovefreegle.org/donate - and members are asked to help on Freegle Direct group pages when they have completed a successful transaction.

Occasionally, there are competitions that Freegle nationally have entered, two successful ones have been:

April 2013

Freegle UK won the March 2013 Direct Debit Big Break competition. The winners were decided by popularity via online voting.The gross amount was £2000, net £1928.


October 2015

We took part in an online voting competition, Upgrade Your World, run by Microsoft as part of their promotional launch of Windows 10. Freegle was one of the winners, receiving $50,000. See Upgrade Your World 15/10/15
