Ideally the posted messages on Freegle groups should just consist of 'offered' 'wanted' 'taken' and 'received' with the occasional 'admin' from the moderator team. You might however want to make an exception for local free environmental events such as the ‘give and take’ days that some local councils organise, and allow those on your main group.
Members can post an [[Freegle Direct Events|event notification on Freegle Direct]]. If that doesn't fit, encourage them to share it on [[ChitChat]] instead.

If your group uses Freegle Direct, however, there is the facility for your members to post an event notification.
