This is an example admin message you could use to tell your community about the Freegle Events feature.

This message is sent to all members of the community.


This mail is sent to all members of the group.  
If you use Freegle Direct (rather than another interface such as Trash Nothing), you can share information about upcoming community events - car boot sales, raffles, talks, or anything else you think might interest other freeglers. If you're browsing on the web, you can find your local Freegle community at an address like freegle.in/<name of your community>.


If you use our new Direct interface, which you can find at http: //freegle.in/<name of your group>, you can now add information about upcoming community events - car boot sales, raffles, talks... in fact anything that you think might be of interest to other Freeglers.<br> They will be displayed on the right hand side of your screen, along with a link to add a new one. Each one you add will be reviewed by the volunteer moderators, just to make sure it is something community-based rather than too commercial.<br>Direct members will see them and Facebook members get a notification of each event.<br>Happy Freegling,
Events appear alongside the ChitChat page, with a link there to add a new one. The large '''+''' icon also includes this option, along with everything else you can post on Freegle. Each event is reviewed by local volunteers, just to check it's community-based rather than overly commercial.
