Bakers Basco supplies baskets used by some of the major bread producers. These baskets remain Basco's property and are only meant to be used by licensees, for transporting bread. Basco has a national asset recovery team that locates misappropriated equipment and uses negotiation, education, collection and, where necessary, legal enforcement to reclaim assets and losses. The bottom line for Freegle: it's illegal to allow offers or requests for Basco baskets, but other makes seem to be acceptable. We can't police this, so if a basket is offered on your group, it's wise to check that the person offering it has made a genuine attempt to get the company that delivered it to collect it. | |||
