Support Tools is an option on ModTools that provides key role holders more detailed information than is available to local moderators.
Those with this access can:
- Find a Freegle user from across the system, on any community, to see their account details etc, including
- whether they are micromoderating or not
- details of any gift aid consent or donations they have given
- their likely location
- recent log in methods
- other known email addresses they use for the account and a facility to add an email address
- the facility to add a new password for the account
- membership details of the communities they have joined
- history of membership, posts, chitchat, chats and recent nationally generated notifications/posts sent to them
- have the ability to impersonate the member to see 'what they are seeing' on their account (not possible to use to for other volunteers)
- a range of buttons to report as a spammer, purge the account, merge, unsubscribe, look at profile, add a note and merge with another account
- Find a Freegle community and see
- the home page
- email addresses for the community
- when affiliation was last confirmed
- mapping details
- who moderates the community, whether they are active or backup, owner or moderator, and when they were last seen on the system
- Find a message on the system via search by id, or by subject. This only returns the first few results, so the search has to be specific.
- List groups - provides a list of all communities on the system in spreadsheet form, allowing sorting by name, whether on TN, when last moderated etc.
- Contact group - a message form that can send an email/message through Modtools to group volunteer addresses
- Add group - used by the New Groups Team to add new teams to the system
- Check volunteers - used to check individual or a list of email addresses to see if the address belongs to a volunteer or not. Used to check eligibility for Freegle Membership.
