Why Use Twitter?
As well as providing your members an easy way to see posts from the group, you can use it to spread the word.

I think a good way of taking advantage of twitter, is for your twitter account to 'follow' other twittereers, in that way they get notification that you are following them and they may look at your twitter profile and then follow you or at the least find out about Freegle. It is a great way to spread the word. have a look at @FreegleBrighton (our profile and followers-which are less than a week old) and it'll give you an idea of what I am talking about.....My local council recycling, the green party, local removalists, collectors, scientists, designers, jornalists and so on are all following @FreegleBrighton twitter now (yay)
