Freegle has always had an emphasis on the moderating and running of our online groups and we tend to think in terms of volunteers all being moderators. However, to make freegling successful in a local area, promotion of the group and other tasks are important to its success, as well as the provision of a good online platform to freegle from/with.

A team of volunteers with a range of skills to promote and provide opportunity for local freegling is therefore important, even if it is only two of you in the early days or twenty of you when you grow to massive success in your community!
