Freegle has always had an emphasis on the moderating and running of the online groups and we tend to think in terms of volunteers all being moderators. Freegle has always had an emphasis on the moderating and running of the online groups and we tend to think in terms of volunteers all being moderators. However, to make freegling successful in a local area, promotion of the group is important to its success, as well as the provision of a good online platform to freegle from/with.
