There's no legal reason to reject offers or requests for hearing aids or glasses.

Both are made to a prescription for the original wearer, so they may not suit someone else, though it's sometimes possible to have them adjusted for a new wearer.

Both items can be recycled, and it's worth pointing an offerer that way if there are no takers:
