Hearing aids, Glasses

There is no legal reason to reject offers or requests for hearing aids or glasses.
They are, of course, both made to a prescription for the wearer, so might not be useful for others, but it could be possible to get them adjusted for a new wearer if that is something the recipient wishes to do.
It is possible to recycle both items, and a note pointing an offerer in that direction could be useful if there are no takers. Some links:

Many opticians also run charity programmes with second-hand glasses.
