Area Guidelines

Group_Affiliation_Team_Area_Guidelines
It was agreed by majority polls that the population criteria outlined in the proposed area guidelines should not be amended and that new group names must be approved by GAT. The policy document was put to the Reps and they have agreed with it. Consultation is now taking place on Freegle UK Central.

Opening New Groups

It was generally agreed that although Freegle do not start groups centrally, local groups are welcome to encourage people to apply to GAT to start up groups in their neighbourhood. This would be particularly useful if local groups can provide support to a new group.
