Fur

Posts offering fur come up occasionally, and some moderators and members may have strong objections to it. There's no reason for a moderator to reject a post offering or requesting fur purely on principle - a moderator's job is to make sure items are free, legal and appropriate for all ages. If you have reason to believe fur being offered or requested comes from an endangered species, you can check:

• CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora)
• DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs)

That said, if you or other moderators on your community have strong feelings about fur, you may choose not to allow it.
