It's OK to join more than one Freegle community, but we get an alert on our system when someone joins so many of them. In case you were not aware, when you reply to an Offer/Wanted post in another area, our system makes you a member of that local community as well.

Please just stay in the ones that are near where you live, or areas that you visit regularly. In Freegle, you can leave others using the Settings ( https://www.ilovefreegle.org/settings ) and then the button "Unsubscribe or Leave Communities".  This shows "You can leave individual communities: Please choose".

If you use Trash Nothing, simply choose Groups from the Ξ at the top right, and click the x by the ones you want to leave.

If you are willing to drop me a note explaining that e.g. you work here or visit family here, I would make a note on your account to avoid asking again in future.

Hi

It's OK to join more than one Freegle community, but we get an alert on our system when someone joins a large number of them. In case you weren't aware, when you reply to an Offer/Wanted post in another area, our system also makes you a member of that community.

Please just stay in the ones near where you live, or areas you visit regularly. In Freegle, you can leave others via Settings (https://www.ilovefreegle.org/settings), then the "Unsubscribe or Leave Communities" button, which shows "You can leave individual communities: Please choose".

If you use Trash Nothing, choose Groups from the menu at the top right, and click the x by the ones you want to leave.

You'd still be able to browse messages on other areas using the app or website.

If you're willing to drop me a note explaining, e.g. that you work here or visit family here, I'll make a note on your account to avoid asking again in future.

Kind regards,
