* Members can already see posts from further afield by adjusting the distance setting, so there's no need to crosspost to reach interested people | |||
* It increases the number of messages per community | |||
* Whoever crossposts may end up dealing with an excess of responses | |||
* It can cause no-shows, when people realise how far they'd have to travel | |||
On the other hand, keeping to your local community helps create more of a sense of community, and can mean less fuel used and less pollution. Members who want to see more posts can always join more communities. | |||
