Contact Details

A number of email addresses exist for contacting Freegle, both from outside and from within the organisation. All volunteers and contractors who look after these mailboxes are required to follow the Freegle Mailbox Guidelines.

External and internal contact addresses

• info@ilovefreegle.org - general queries about Freegle.
• support@ilovefreegle.org - technical queries about how communities run on Freegle Direct, the Freegle app, Trashnothing and so on.
• media@ilovefreegle.org - national media queries.
• directors@ilovefreegle.org - contact point for the Freegle Board.
• newgroups@ilovefreegle.org - mailbox of the New Groups Team (NGT); use this to apply to start a new Freegle community, or to move an existing reuse community over to Freegle.
• webmaster@ilovefreegle.org - technical problems with the website (in the first instance these are directed to info@ilovefreegle.org).
• partnerships@ilovefreegle.org - contact address for the Partnerships Team.
• Community volunteer email addresses follow the format Groupname-volunteers@groups.ilovefreegle.org - the 'groupname' part must match your community's title exactly, including any underscores, hyphens or spaces.

Internal contact addresses

Several Freegle teams and addresses exist to help volunteers with specific matters. You'll find these on the Teams tab of ModTools; here are some of them:

• mentors@ilovefreegle.org - help, support and holiday cover from the Mentor Team.
• ombudsman@ilovefreegle.org - to contact our Ombudsman.
• returningofficer@ilovefreegle.org - to contact our Returning Officer about polls and elections.
• grouplaunchcoordinator@ilovefreegle.org - for new Freegle community launches.
• geeks@ilovefreegle.org - for specific Freegle IT matters.
• volunteer-support@ilovefreegle.org - address for the moderators who deal with Freegle UK Central and Freegle Rock Cafe.
• board@ilovefreegle.org - contact address for accessing information about Freegle's insurance policy cover.
• media@ilovefreegle.org - contact address for our Head of Media, for questions or information about promoting Freegle.
