The Board may appoint people to carry out specific work, under a paid contract for services. Contracts are/have been:
- Freegle Platform Developer – covers ongoing development of the platform. Edward Hibbert
- Freegle Platform Maintenance – covers major fixes and general maintenance. Details of contract awards announcements are included on Freegle Platform Developer. Edward Hibbert
- Freegle Social Media Management – Cat Fletcher
- Freegle Media - Stories
- Freegle Volunteer Support – Mhairi Gordon-Preston, 1 year contract 2016–17 to review and improve our volunteer strategy
- Freegle App Developer – Chris Cant
