Venue once again is Hertford It is local to Train stations, and not too far from London. You can book for a night or longer, or just visit those they do stay for a day. It is suitable for wheelchairs. This year’s Freestock is at the Hertford Campsite There are also B&B’s and hotels nearby in and around Hertford. You can get accommodation information from Hertford Tourist Information or Trip Advisor.
Camping
The site is beautiful, with excellent facilities including disabled access. It has some "Glamping tents" that are set up for you. I will book a communal one if enough people are interested, or you can book your own on the “Ready Camp” link from the website above. Costs for camping start from £8.70 per adult, per night. Day visitors will be warmly welcomed and there is no cost for them.
Campers, please book direct and say that you are with the group booked by Dee Moss so that they can put us all in the same area. I will send a separate message about the information needed when booking.
Travelling
Hertford is easy to get to as it has two railway stations (Hertford North is 35 mins from London Kings Cross, Hertford East is for Liverpool Street trains) It is also near to major routes, so from the south take the M25 and then the A1M or the A10 North for 10 mins to the junctions for Hertford. If approaching from the North get to the A1M and turn off at Hatfield along the A414 to Hertford.
