Mentors currently have 10 members and 1 Board observer.

The Mentor team are:<br>
Alison, Christian, Cooky, David, Diz, Jacqui, Jo and Leon. Sheila Little is the team coordinator Wanda is acting co-coordinator. Andy Ludlow is our Board observer.

===This Month===
We have been concentrating on moving groups across to native hosting again this month. We still have about half a dozen caretaker groups to move across. If anyone needs help moving their group to native, Mentors are happy to help.

Mentors created a new Purbeck Freegle group after the owner of the original group passed away and with no mods on board, it left the group effectively abandoned. We contacted a local reuse group with regards to taking it on as new owners. So far there is no reply from them but the group is up and running as a caretaker group. This case shows how important it is to have a back up owner on all Yahoo groups.

Carlisle Freegle was disaffiliated this month as the group owner failed to reply to any emails from Freegle and the group is failing. Mentors have recreated the group and it now has a couple of experienced mods from a nearby group looking after things temporarily.

We are currently in discussion with three different group owners, trying to help them with various problems they are having with moderating their groups.

===Caretaker Groups===
There are currently 34 groups listed on the caretaker list needing new owners and 12 that are being cared for temporarily. These include some groups being cared for by non mentors. Since the list began, permanent new owners have been found for another 39 groups.

We come again to the list of groups under the care of caretakers. If any mod teams local to any of these groups would like to take any of these groups on as permanent new owners, please contact us.
