<p>Wiki revamp: restructure &amp; modernise</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>This is a reorganised &#039;&#039;&#039;review copy&#039;&#039;&#039; of the Freegle Volunteer Wiki, built to make the day-to-day guidance easy to find. Nothing here is applied to the live wiki - it is a copy to look at.<br /> <br /> == What changed ==<br /> * The volunteer guidance is grouped into topic &#039;&#039;&#039;sections&#039;&#039;&#039; (see the [[Main Page]]), each opening with a short guide and a suggested order rather than a bare list of links.<br /> * &#039;&#039;&#039;[[:Category:Organisation &amp; Governance|How Freegle is run]]&#039;&#039;&#039; - roles, remits, policies - is kept as current reference, separate from the day-to-day guidance.<br /> * Dated records (meeting reports, AGMs, board minutes) are moved into a clearly-marked &#039;&#039;&#039;[[:Category:Archive|Archive]]&#039;&#039;&#039; so they no longer clutter browsing or search.<br /> * The wording on the operational pages has been modernised - Yahoo Groups-era references updated to Freegle Direct, the app, ModTools, ChitChat and Discourse; Twitter/X removed as a current channel.<br /> * Full-text search deprioritises the archive, so everyday guidance comes first.<br /> <br /> == What did not change ==<br /> The facts, rules, policies, prices and links on each page are preserved - only the structure and wording were tidied.
