What is a QR code?

QR codes are the square blocky equivalents to bar codes or web site addresses.

What does it look like?

How does it work?

When you focus the camera of a smart phone or tablet on the code, it leads to the Freegle Home page.

Where do I get one?

You can copy and paste them in to a banner or leaflet, anywhere where it is easier to point a device than to jot down a website address.

How should I use it?

https://app.qr-code-generator.com has helpful advice on how best to use these codes, and where.

How long will it last?

Freegle has subscribed to the code for a year. Even if we do not renew, it will remain live for three years until August 2021.
