This is a sample Admin message you could use to announce to your group the new version of the Message Maker released in April 2011.

Don't forget to change [GROUP_NAME] to the end part of your group URL (without the traliing /) and [GROUP NAME] to the friendly name of your group. Check that the links work before you send it.

ADMIN: NEW MESSAGE MAKER

Hello everyone.

[GROUP NAME] has a new version of the Message Maker making it even easier to post a message to the group.  If you haven't used our Message Maker before, it's a simple form that helps you get your message to the group in the correct format.

The main change in this version is that you have to enter your email address into the Message Maker.  The Message Maker then sends your email direct to the group without you having to submit it in Yahoo or in your own email software.  Please check carefully that you enter your email address that is a member of the group.
