Your home page is the place where you recruit new members and provide information and services for existing members. Yahoo has given us limited scope for customising this, but luckily our ingenious Freegle techy people have provided us with some nifty tools.
- Freegle Message Maker - an easy-to-use form you can encourage your members to use to post their messages with the correct format (for a brief explanation see Message Maker)
- Official group - apply for this and you will be able to put the message maker on your home page
- Join the Group - once you are an official group you can also use this tool, which pops a box onto your home page to make it really, really easy for someone to join your group
- Find a Group maps - You can put a map on your home page with this tool
- Badges - Freegle logos, awards, events - put one of these badges on your page to get the message easily across
- Disclaimer - the recommended text for a disclaimer and safety notice for your home page
