Fix the Message Page Display in Yahoo! Groups

This how to assumes that you are using Firefox.

If you do not already use it install Adblock Plus

Install the addon Element Hiding Helper

Then you can block page elements and return your Yahoo! moderating pages back to their former width/glory.

Click on the red octagonal ABP drop-down menu button on the right of the navigation bar of Firefox and choose "Select element to hide".

Move your mouse pointer around the unwanted page area until it turns into a red-bordered rectangle, then press the S-key (as per the action key) and it will disappear.

If you make a mistake or change your mind, use Adblock Plus's drop-down menu again to select "Open blockable items" and open up a frame at the bottom with the filtered items in it.

Click on the red "x" on the right of the "groups.yahoo.com##.ygrp-right-col" line. If you have something else listed there then you probably didn't select the correct thing to block, so deselect it by clicking its "x". Click on the "x" on the right of the ABP frame's grey bar to close the frame.
