This app is now obsolete - there is a button on the Posts page which people can use to join. Please remove it from your pages.
This is a Facebook application which you can put on a group page to allow people to find the Facebook Freegle Application. Although the Freegle application should show up in people's list of applications, and can be found by searching, some people will lose it. They might also not realise that if they join again they'll find it. So this acts as a link.
It works in conjunction with the Facebook Republisher (which you should set up first) and the Facebook Freegle Application for members.

Setting up Facebook
Just click on the Add to my page link on the left hand side, and select your page.
You can't add it to Facebook Groups.
Can I see an example?
Sure. The easiest thing to do is to join http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FreeglePlayground/ and click the Use Grou tab.
